Fillet tails are the end of the beef fillet which is not ideal for generic shape of a steak although it is perfect for stripping and using in quick fry cooking such as stroganoff or curries.
Start by slicing the fillet tail into strips or just simply ask your butcher to do this for you. Fry off on a high heat until just cooked and simply add to your preferred sauce. Alternatively you could butterfly the tail and fry off to have on a steak sandwich.
