You might remember us announcing in November that Roger has been awarded The Institute of Meat’s Master butcher status. This is a huge achievement as Roger is the youngest butcher to gain this award.
Having spent his early years watching Brendan at work cutting meat, Roger and the rest of the Anderton’s team have followed in the high standard that have been set.
On 23rd February, Roger went down to the ceremony in London to collect his award which was well deserved. To earn the accreditation, he had to pass written & practical assessments, as well as interviews and essay questions.
We’re really proud of Roger & his achievements, he even made it into the Lancashire Evening Post!
