Roger Anderton becomes a proud liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Butchers

We at Andertons Butchers are delighted that our Master Butcher, Roger Anderton has been admitted to the Freedom and Livery of the Worshipful Company of the Art or Mistery of Butchers of the City of London. This privilege is one of the highest-ranking honours which can be bestowed upon a humble butcher.

Roger is tremendously proud to have been recognised by his peers for his work and this is another achievement in a career and trade which is embedded in the Anderton family. Roger was nominated by Peter and Lucianne Allen of Aubrey Allen Butchers, two people and a company who we at Andertons can’t help but admire. Along with the former Master of the Worshipful Company, a Mr Geoff Gillo,  another acquaintance to whom we can’t help but have a high regard for due to his distinguished career within the Meat Industry.

We wish Roger the best in his quest for excellence, and look forward to seeing what the future holds for our very own Liveryman.
