The Meat Management Industry Awards are the “Oscars” of the Meat Industry and take place once a year to reward only the very best in the business. We at Anderton’s have been working really hard and putting extra resource into trying to make our online butchers shop one of the best in the UK. When we were nominated for such a prestigious award we were absolutely delighted, but to win an award of this stature and magnitude is something which us simple butchers dream about!
Our online sales section first opened to the public in 2016, to allow customers to take advantage of our fantastic BBQ Hampers and Christmas Hampers during seasonal periods with the ease of our meat being delivered fresh to their doorstep. In 2017 we launched our full online sales service in which customers the length of the UK could order their favourite Anderton’s products and have it delivered fresh the next day. Since the full launch we are proud to say it has been a tremendous success.
The Online Business category is an especially tough category with other nominees having a lot more experience than us in the online market, but we are pleased that our traditional butcher values have laid the foundations for what is another successful branch to Andertons Ribble Valley Butchers, and we look to continue this success in the future. Our quest for excellence in all areas 2018 is really paying dividends.
The awards took place on the 24th May 2018, at the Hilton Hotel, NEC Birmingham, where Roger Anderton and Max Roberts were present to collect the winners accolade on behalf of Andertons Ribble Valley Butchers.
